How did the Actors Perform?

This is like a debut movie of Rajasekhar for many of today’s generation. He should be applauded for his sincere and restrained performance. His age doesn’t show up as much as other senior heroes and he is quite fit in action sequences as well.

Pooja Kumar’s role is quite similar to what she did in Vishwaroopam – Nagging wife to an undercover agent. Adith played a role which takes the story forward. Its a cakewalk for him. An actor with both good looks and acting chops, this film might pave the way for more roles.

Sunny Leonne is a definite plus for the movie with her ‘Deo Deo’ song. Her hair though could have been done better. Shradda Das plays a routine TV Journalist. Kishore’s villian role was hyped up pre-release, but nothing great about his role or his link to the main story. Nazar fits in well as Rajasekhar’s boss. Ravi Verma and Shatru are good. Posani, Prudhvi and Ali do their bit.

Movie Analysis

The film is very gripping from the first scene to 20 minutes before the climax. Everything goes perfect and well in line for a blockbuster. But the Krishnapatnam port episode could have been better dealt and leaves the audience with a sense of anti-climax. This doesn’t take the complete sheen of the movie though. It is still a well made film.

Praveen Sattaru continues to be the current most versatile director of Telugu Cinema in terms of genre selection. He picks up a very challenging script and proves himself once again. This could open a slew of Spy thrillers in Telugu.

All the action sequences are well executed. The background music added to the high octane feel. ‘Deo-Deo’ song which is already a chart-buster comes at the right time. The locations and sets are high quality. The blue-grey cinematography and poster pattern has a ‘Ghazi’ feel to it. Overall production values are simply superb.
