Story: Ganga Ram(Gopichand) is an orphan. He gets shelter at a café and he has only one goal in life, to become a sincere cop. He achieves his goal and becomes a SI and gets good name in the department within no time for his sincerity. DIG Barath nandan(Nassar) assigns the job of uprooting the mafia in Hyderabad. Ganga ram’s main job is to kill mafia kingpins Talwar and Khaleed. Ganga ram starts his mission and gets good following from the people as an encounter specialist…

Suddenly Ganga ram gets arrested on the charges of corruption and extortion… He finds that DIG and an APC are the helping Khaleed by putting him behind the bars. Ganga ram escapes an encounter bid and turns as ‘Gangu Bhai’.

What does Gangu Bhai do is the rest of the story.(There is a love track which I dint mention in the story)

Artist’s Performance: Gopichand was very much believable as a sincere cop. Gopichand showed his own style in acting.

Priyamani must be congratulated for her own dubbing. For a first timer she did a great job. Her acting was good.

Roja acted as a single mom of Priyamani. She was Ok. Ali gets a hugh applause for his introduction scene but cant delever much laughter.

Technnical Details: Puri Jagannadh must have done a lot of ground work before committing to this script. The emotions of a sincere cop were present very well . I personally felt that songs disturbed the momentum of the second half. The casting of Nassar and Shawar Ali was perfect.

Music by Chakri was Ok. Background score was good. Editing by Marthand .K.Venkaesh was very sharp as usual.

Super Verdict: Golimar is targeted to a set of audience. There is lot of violence in the movie but dealt very well. The ultimate fate of the movie must be decided after a couple of weeks. May fit somewhere around average & above average.
