When Bahubali-1 was released, Srimanthudu was the next big film and it raked in huge moolah. This time around Mahesh starrer SPYder was supposed to be released after Bahubali-2, but has been facing lot of delays in production. Finally there was some respite for fans.
#SpyDer will come to you this Dussehra ! Let's get the party started with the first glimpse on May 31st at 5 PM 🙂

Primarily a bi-lingual, the film is directed by Murugadass one of the top notch directors in Kollywood. Mahesh had prepared his ground for a regular source of added collections from the Tamil market. He is already a known face there because two of his films ‘Okkadu’ and ‘Pokiri’ were blockbusters there too (when remade by Vijay). His ‘Athadu’ was dubbed as ‘Nanda’ and did well on TV circuit. Both Srimanthudu and Bramhotsavam were dubbed in Tamil as a precursor for SPYder.
We have to see how the Tamil audience receive it. The only Telugu dubbed movies that have done well there were Ammoru, Tholi Prema, Arundhati and Bahubali. With Thuppaki and Kaththi as his last two Southie big ticket films, Murugadoss appears a decent bet for Mahesh to make forays into Tamil market.
